1.  Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Freebird Films-Azhda services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
 

2.  Use of Services

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use our services:
 

  •  In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation

  • To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way

  • To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material that does not comply with our content standards

 

3. Intellectual Property


All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Freebird Films-Azhda or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use any content without our prior written permission.
 

4.  Account Security

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
 

 5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
 

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Freebird Films-Azhda, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use our services; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
 

8. Governing Law
 

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
 

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

10. Workshop Terms & Conditions

By registering for Azhda Workshops, you agree to the following:
 

  • Registration and full payment must be completed prior to attending any workshop. Signing up for a creative workshop adds your name to a waitlist and does not guarantee a spot until you have successfully completed a participant evaluation process.
     

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop are eligible for a full (100%) refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop start date are non-refundable.
     

  • If a workshop or class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or instructor rescheduling, you will be eligible for a full refund or an alternate session.
     

  • Pricing is based on group participation. For private one-on-one sessions, please contact us directly.
     

  • Promotions and discounts are subject to change or discontinuation without prior notice.
     

  • Complimentary classes may differ in curriculum and duration from regular workshop sessions.
     

  • Workshops are conducted in collaboration with private learning centres, schools, community centres, and libraries.
     

  • Participants must respect scheduled time slots, workshop rules, instructors, and fellow attendees.
     

  • Unless otherwise requested in writing, you grant permission for Azhda to use photos or video content from the workshops for promotional and educational purposes.
     

  • Workshop activities may involve third-party and AI-powered tools. By participating, you consent to any data processing governed by those platforms’ privacy policies.
     

  • The minimum age to attend any Azhda workshop is 13 years old. Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the registration and provide consent.
     

  • Participation is at your own risk. Azhda is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damages incurred during the workshop.

11. Workshop Participant Evaluation Process
 
To ensure the best learning experience, Azhda may require participants to undergo a brief evaluation process before confirming registration. This may include:
 

  • A short questionnaire or interview to assess skill level and goals

  • Review of prior experience or sample work (if applicable)

  • Verification of age eligibility and required consents

  • Ensuring alignment between participant interests and the workshop content

12. Privacy Policy

We collect and store personal data solely for communication, registration, and workshop delivery. We do not sell or share personal data unrelated to workshop operations. Some data may be processed via third-party tools and platforms in accordance with their privacy terms.
 

13. Consent Acknowledgement

By checking the acknowledgment box on the sign up/registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms of Use, Workshop Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
